Episode 30 - Legends (Justice League S01E16-17)

Salutations, chums! Your favorite animated superhero based internet radio broadcast returns once more to discuss what is probably the best episode of Justice League's first season: Legends.

As Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern and Flash are left stranded in an alternate world populated by the comic book heroes of John Stewart's youth, they come up against both hilarious and surprisingly harsh versions of 40's-50's America, some DASTARDLY CAPERS and a dark, terrible secret.

This episode is so good that the crew stays on topic for the majority of the episode and collectively discover the absolute brilliance of Gardner F. Fox, creator of basically every cool thing in DC Comics.

Your Komix Korner/The Fuck You Read?'s recommendation for this week is Thor: God of Thunder by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic,
